PREVIOUS TRAINING / FAVE SPORT I love to swim. I find it peaceful and calming. If I could spend an hour every day in the ocean I would be one happy girl.
SONG ON REPEAT “Feeling Good” by Nina Simone. It reminds me that every day is a chance to do better / be better. That's why I always end my classes with it. To remind people that no matter how shitty today was, tomorrow will be better. I also walked down the aisle to it, so it's a pretty emotional song for me.
ULTIMATE GOAL To give people a safe place to let go, even if it's just for 45 minutes. If that means you need to scream or dance or cry, my class is your place to get lost in the music and just be.
GO-TO MOVE Hitting down into a press when the beat drops is pretty satisfying.
FOOD FOR LIFE Pizza, pasta, fries. Is that bad for an instructor to say? K fine, I'll give you a healthy answer: mangoes! OBSESSED with mangoes.
